Changing the nation’s apple-tite

We can all breathe a sigh of relief knowing we survived the ‘January blues’. But equally, we shouldn’t forget that it’s a good time to focus on our ‘New Year, New Me’ mentality, including making positive, healthy changes to our diet.

Sadly old habits die hard, and with a new month comes new temptations. Think Valentine’s and Pancake Day, and in the blink of an eye we indulge in decadent heart-shaped chocolates, and polish off that new tub of golden syrup – all in the same week!

To counteract this – and to change the nation’s apple-tite for good – we’ve teamed up with registered NHS GP Dr Rupy Aujla to develop a selection of simple Great British Apples snacking recipes. We’ll also be sharing his expert tips every day throughout February, offering advice on how to make realistic, long-term changes to snacking habits.

Follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to be the first to receive these updates, or if you can’t wait until then, check out the delicious snacking dishes on the recipe section of our homepage.

28 days of goodness, on the go. Go on, what have you got to lose?
